@Gerrit - I&#039;ve missed them the past two weeks, but I have been doing some longer interval workouts (4800m worth of 800m or 1200m).  I tried running on my treadmill at 10% incline for a few minutes yesterday and I could really feel it in my calves.  I think I&#039;ll try to get some hills in once or twice a week and also get in a interval session once a week.  Hopefully that will be enough to make the race not suck too hard.  I hope you are getting a chance to get some regular biking in.</description>

		<description>The best thing I&#039;ve found to prepare me for running hills (and biking them) is interval training, such that the rest period between intervals isn&#039;t enough for full recovery.  It hurts, but will build strength and train your body to deal with lactic acid.</description>
