If you ran in more than 25 minutes, you weren't allowed to finish the race. They had a very narrow finish line. Crowds were big -- I was ordered to stop running at 2.90 miles. Along with all the "middle" finishers, I was forced to walk slowly, as if in line for tickets at an amusement park, for the last .2 miles. Officials were yelling to stay in place. I guess this is a race for elite runners. I have a friend who ran it fast and did get to finish it. They took all of our money though! I might have to follow that format. The food was pretty awesome. It was a great way to start an entire day of over eating. :) The results are a drag.
